Sustainability at Dairy Day

We are committed to ensuring that every part of our business is sustainable and ethical – and that has to start with the partnerships we choose.

Caring for our Cows and Community

Dairy Day only works with farmers who are passionate about animal welfare – we believe that content cows who graze outdoors on fresh pasture produce better milk. We visit our farms on a weekly basis, and have known some of the herd since they were calves. By committing to buying 100% of the milk from several of our herds we can ensure our cows receive the best care whilst supporting our local community. Dairy Day simply wouldn’t be the successful business it is today without the stakeholder farmers we rely on.

Packed with pride

At Dairy Day we know that our customers care not only about the ingredients we use, but also the packaging we wrap all our products in. Two years ago we took the decision to move to 100% recyclable packaging throughout our business. We also expect those who supply ingredients to us to follow our lead – we want to work with companies who share our values and environmental commitments.

Climate commitment goals

Our goal is to become carbon neutral through several company-wide initiatives including, increasing efficiency in our factory, investing in electric vehicles and contributing to tree-planting schemes in our local area. As a food manufacturer we have a huge responsibility to ensure that whatever resources we take from our planet, we must repay with interest.
