Having spent three months in Italy learning from the Mozarella masters, Dairy Day’s chief cheese maker is one of the few producers making block Mozarella in the UK. Unlike other imported products, our Mozarella has no extra preservatives, ensuring it has an authentic taste, with no added salt. Packed with protein and calcium and made from 100% locally sourced cow’s milk at our Hertfordshire base, our cheese has a fuller flavour and softer texture than highly processed varieties. Perfect for grating, shredding and slicing, before baking to a golden cheesy crust, our Mozarella browns beautifully on top of your favourite pizza or lasagne. We particularly love using our block cheese to make baked Mozarella sticks, and they’re even better when accompanied with one of Dairy Day’s traditional dips.
